Ekem’s project “high corrosion resistance and blue trivalent chromium passivating agent with wide range” won the innovation funding of Fujian province

In September 2011, The project “high corrosion resistance and blue trivalent chromium passivating agent with wide range” which was researched by Ekem (Fujian) Chemicals Co., Ltd. independently won the innovation funding of Fujian province after getting the innovation funding issued by the municipal government. 

The project broke through the bottleneck of the contradiction between traditional passivating agent uniformity with high corrosion resistance and appearance color uniformity. Compared with traditional hexavalent chromium passivation, its corrosion resistance is higher, the appearance color is brighter, the operating range is wider, and it has reached the advanced international levels. The project meets the restriction of hexavalent chromium and it’s more environmental and industrial, and it becomes the best choice to replace the hexavalent chromium passivation.

As a high-tech and an innovative pilot enterprise of Fujian province, Ekem has received many times innovation funding from municipal, provincial, national funds. It owns a series of patents and intellectual properties and is also practice bases of the college of chemistry and chemical engineering of Xiamen University. Relying on a number of science and technology special platforms, Ekem will increase its investment in research development and accelerate the speed of innovation, so as to live up to the trust and expectation of government and leaders at all levels, making more contributions to the harmonious development between human beings and nature.
